Lavendar Fields of Sequim
Blue skies, smiling at me. Nothing but blue skies do I see!
So there IS a place in WA where the sun always shines (well almost always)! And its called Sequim.
This is the moment where I run my fingers through fields of lavender and wonder why I don't spend every single day of my life in Heaven on Earth.
By the way, I haven't answered myself yet...

Eat, Pray, Love (My Version)
I'm preparing to close down life in Woodinville, WA and hit the road when my house sells. I'm traveling HOPEFULLY... after reading William Least Heat Moon's book, "Blue Highways", I am inspired to explore, be curious, see national parks and see where my year takes me. I'll be following clues, as I believe we are always led when we are open. In a way, I'm following the sun, too.

The People of the Blue Green Water
How about a trek (with permission from the Havasupai Indians) to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to see this magnificent village of waterfalls and to meet the Havasupai? I waited YEARS to do this trek, to scale 200 feet down the slippery Mooney Falls ladders and pegs, and swim in the famous blue/green water...do it now, while you are strong and able! Take off EARLY in the morning before the temperatures reach 120 degrees in the bottom of the canyon, and stay awhile when you get there. The lodge is great, and the town even has a restaurant. I loved this trip, blisters and all! I walked in and took a horse ride out. Helicopters are also available both ways, if you choose to experience Supai in this way.
Up Above My Own Sweet Town-Seattle
Why not hop on a hot air balloon and see your own area of the world from 5,000 feet up? Flying over the East Side of Seattle was exquisite, watching the sunset, hearing silence, except for the blast of hot air now and then...Or better yet, strap into a harness and get whipped off the back of a boat and parasail for a bird's eye view of the area! Either way...its "off the beaten path"!
Welcome to Wildwoman's Adventures
This blog is meant to share off-the-beaten-path adventures with fellow travelers and friends around the world. I've been avidly traveling for the past 25 years, and have always enjoyed every single destination I've visited! There are such good people in the world, and I know this to be true because of my travels. We all want the same things in life: health, wealth, happiness, and love! Raise your glass and toast with me to sharing the essence of each destination and the people we meet along the way, no matter where we all may travel! May we all be open to meeting our next best friends out there in this beautiful big world of ours, and may we all journey safely and be consciously aware that "Life is Good"!
Love to Everyone!
